Emer McGrath, MB, BCh, MRCP, PhD

Emer McGrath is an Attending Neurologist at Galway University Hospital and an Associate Professor of Neurology at the National University of Ireland Galway. She completed Neurology training at the Harvard Mass General Brigham residency program in 2017 and a fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham & Women's Hospital in 2018. She was on faculty at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Neurologist at Brigham & Women's Hospital before relocating to Ireland in 2020 to take up her current post. She currently holds a Clinician Scientist Award from the Health Research Board of Ireland.
