Mohammad Saleem, PhD
I am a postdoctoral fellow currently working in Dr. Annet Kirabo's laboratory at the Division of Clinical pharmacology in Vanderbilt University Medical Center Nashville TN.
Currently, I am working on the project to investigate the role of myeloid specific Jak2 in salt-sensitive high blood pressure. I the previous projects, I have shown the role Sox6 and Sp3 gene in blood pressure regulation. We also shown that Sox6 controls the expression of renin gene during physio and pathophysiological condition and play a role in renal artery stenosis.
