Ryan Solinsky, MD

Dr. Solinsky is a spinal cord injury physician-scientist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School. He has degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Studio Art from the University of Minnesota. He graduated from medical school at Case Western Reserve University before completing a categorical residency in PM&R at the University of Washington. He then completed a Spinal Cord Injury Medicine fellowship at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation before accepting his current faculty position. Outside of clinical SCI care, Dr. Solinsky’s research is rooted in better characterizing deficits in the autonomic nervous system after spinal cord injury and understanding how this dysfunction can give meaningful information to clinicians.
