Michael Platt, MD, MSc

Michael Platt MD, MSc, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at Boston University School of Medicine. He serves as the Residency Program Director and the President-Elect for the American Academy of Otolarygic Allergy. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College, with subsequent residency at Albany Medical Center, Rhinology Fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Masters Degree in Clinical Bioinformatics at Boston University. Dr. Platt's research interests include improving resident education, quality and safety in Otolaryngology, the role of allergy in head and neck disease, and molecular alterations in airway diseases. Dr. Platt enjoys spending time with his wife Judy, Chief Health Officer for Boston University, and his three children.
