Julia Heck, PhD, MPH

Julia Heck, PhD, MPH is a Professor and Associate Dean for Research at the College of Health and Public Service, University of North Texas (UNT). She received a PhD in Epidemiology at Columbia University and a Master's in Public Health at Boston University. She completed postdoctoral fellowships at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), an agency of the World Health Organization, and at UCLA's Division of Cancer Control and Prevention. After 10 years on faculty at UCLA, she came to Denton to join UNT.
