Amanda de Leon, M.S. CGC

Amanda de Leon, M.S., CGC, is a member of the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern. She specializes in genetic counseling for patients who are at risk for hereditary cancer syndromes. Ms. de Leon earned her Master of Science in molecular, cellular, developmental biology and genetics with an emphasis in genetic counseling at the University of Minnesota. Her interests include working with underserved populations, alleviating health disparities in genetics and genetic counseling by improving access to genetics care, and mentorship. She also has a passion for genetics education and outreach.
