Melissa Scala, MD
Melissa Scala, MD is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford University in the Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine. Her primary research interests include understanding biologic mechanisms and best practices around family centered developmental care and optimizing outcomes for preterm infants. In addition to her active research, she serves as the program director for the neonatology fellowship at Stanford and medical director for infant developmental care at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
