Elizabeth Manning
E. Blair Manning, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Manning earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation, including an integrated medical and surgical internship, at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and she gained advanced training in sports medicine through a fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.
Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as sports medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2013.
Dr. Manning’s clinical interests include treatments for a wide range of injuries to the hips, wrists and hands, spine, elbows, ankles, nerves, shoulders, knees, and toes. She enjoys teaching medical students and physicians-in-training, as well as educating her patients about the science behind their diagnosis and treatment.
She has delivered numerous presentations related to her areas of expertise. She serves on the Ultrasound Committee for the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. In addition, she is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Manning is a Fort Worth native and proud graduate of Paschal High School. She is a competitive tennis player, an avid skier, and a soccer and theater mom.
