Daniela Vela, Ph.D.

Daniela Vela, Ph.D. is a Geriatric Psychologist and Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She works as part of UTSW’s Neurocognitive and Geriatric Psychiatry Program providing psychotherapy to older adults and family caregivers. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Texas and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Geropsychology from the VA North Texas Health Care System.
