Professor Anushka Patel is Vice-Principal Director & Chief Scientist of The George Institute for Global Health, an independent health and medical research institute with offices in Australia, China, India and the UK. Based in Sydney, Australia, she is a practicing clinical cardiologist and has a conjoint academic appointment at the University of New South Wales. Dr Patel participates in a number global health initiatives with a focus on both large-scale clinical research and implementation science, largely relating to the prevention of cardiometabolic conditions.
