Sara Munoz-Blanco, MD
Dr. Munoz-Blanco is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She earned her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed a residency in Pediatrics at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center. She received advanced training in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine and in Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine through separate fellowships at Johns Hopkins Children's Center and Johns Hopkins Hospital. The training provided her with additional expertise in communication, caring for infants and children with serious illness, and coordination of care. Dr. Munoz-Blanco's focus is on providing high-quality interdisciplinary care to infants, from the perinatal period and beyond, at all stages of serious illness with a focus on communication research, quality improvement, program-building, and education.
