Joshua Nagler, MD MHPEd
Joshua Nagler is a pediatric emergency medicine physician at Boston Children's Hospital, and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He earned a Master in Science degree in Health Professions Education. As a faculty member, his academic efforts have focused on medical education, with clinical interest and scholarship related to teaching pediatric resuscitation and airway management. He has held numerous leadership positions at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, including his current roles as Associate Division Chief and Program Director for the Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He is also the Associate DIO for GME at Boston Children’s Hospital and co-directs a number of CME courses focused on medical education, leadership, and innovation through Harvard Medical School. He has earned nearly 20 teaching awards from medical students, residents, and fellows and has more than 100 academic publications in peer review journals and textbooks. However, the metrics he values the most are the happiness and success of his mentees, and the closeness of his family.
