Dr. Fox grew up in Oregon, Oklahoma and Saudi Arabia and received a Bachelor's of Arts in German Language & Literature, in a successful effort to study abroad in Germany, where she was born.  She has worked as a bank teller, pharmacy technician and was an active duty U.S. Army soldier medic and EMT/Ambulance Driver prior to attending medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.  From there, she completed OB-GYN residency and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at UTMB at Galveston, and has worked at Baylor College of Medicine since 2012. 

Dr. Fox is currently an Associate Professor and Fellowship Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, is the Clinical Director of the Placenta Accreta Spectrum Team at Baylor College of Medicine, and is the Director of Maternal Transport at Texas Children's Hospital.  She serves as Treasurer of the Pan-American Society for the Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS2,) a multi-disciplinary and international group of physicians and researchers dedicated to the Placenta Accreta Spectrum, and is a member of the SMFM Education Committee. 

When she is not working, you might spot Dr. Fox at the pool, on a paddleboard, or skating around Galveston Island, where she lives with her husband and kids.
