Kathleen Zhang, MD
Dr. Katie Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at UT Southwestern, specializing in Cardio-Oncology. She completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by fellowships in Cardiology and Cardio-Oncology at Washington University in St. Louis. She is currently the Director of Curriculum for the Cardio-Oncology Fellowship Program at UT Southwestern. Prior to her arrival at UTSW in January 2022, Dr. Zhang was an Assistant Professor at Washington University in St. Louis where she also served as Associate Program Director for Recruitment for the Cardiology Fellowship Program. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts, is an editor of The Washington Manual of Cardio-Oncology (1st edition), and serves on the Education and Training Committee of the International Cardio-Oncology Society. Dr. Zhang is also on the Planning Committee for the American College of Cardiology's "Advancing the Cardiovascular Care of the Cancer Patient" course.
