Gerad Montgomery, MSN, FNP-C
Gerad Montgomery is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. He beganhis career in pediatric orthopaedics in 2007 atChildren’s Medical Center of Dallas where he was part of the Sports Medicine Team and covered orthopedic trauma at the Level One Trauma Center. While working at Children’s Medical Center, Gerad was a member of the Advanced Practice Leadership Team and served as the Manager for the Orthopedic Team of APPs at the north campus location. In 2015, he left Children’s Medical Center after 11 years to develop a new acute care fracture program with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children where he now serves as the Director of the Fracture Program. Gerad sits on the Board for the combined CMCD/TSRH Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship Program and is a program chair for the Sports Medicine Educational Series. He is an active member in his community, often guest lectures at local universities, and has presented both nationallyand locally on various pediatric orthopedic and pediatric sports medicine-related topics.
