Nicolas Cortes-Penfield, M.D.
Dr. Cortés-Penfield is an assistant professor in the division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he also serves as the medical director of the Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) program and the co-chair of the hospital ethics committee. He completed medical school, residency in Internal Medicine, and fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Baylor College of Medicine. His clinical work and research focuses on the treatment of adults with complicated bone and joint infections.
