Anne Carlew, PhD

Anne Carlew, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. Dr. Carlew is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. She specializes in neuropsychological assessment, with particular interest in working with individuals with dementia, mild cognitive impairment, epilepsy, and pre/post brain surgery. Her research interests include using neuropsychological assessment to predict everyday functioning, neuropsychological assessment of diverse populations, and cognitive screening.
Dr. Carlew earned her master’s degree in psychology and her doctoral degree in clinical psychology (neuropsychology emphasis) at the University of North Texas. She completed her clinical internship at Rush University Medical Center, before returning to Texas to complete the two year BvB Dallas Alzheimer’s Disease Neuropsychology Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
