Patrick Young, MD, MACP, FACG, ASGE

Dr. Patrick Young is a Professor of Medicine and Director of the Digestive Health Division at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD. Additionally, he serves as the Chair of the Board of Governors for the American College of Gastroenterology. His clinical practice is focused on interventional gastroenterology, particularly the management of malignant and premalignant conditions. His research interests include ergonomics, Barrett's esophagus, and colorectal cancer screening and prevention. He has a passion for coaching, mentorship and sponsorship, with a focus of enhancing diversity in gastroenterology. When he is not in the endo suite, you will likely find him in the woods or on the water enjoying creation.
