Kathleen Romanowski, MD, MAS, FACS
Kathleen Romanowski, MD, MAS is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Burn Fellowship Program Director in the Division of Burn Surgery at the University of California, Davis, and Shriners Children’s Northern California. She completed her undergraduate degree at Loyola University Chicago and her medical degree at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. She did her general surgery residency at the University of Chicago before completing a Burn fellowship and Surgical Critical Care fellowship at the University of California, Davis, and Shriners Children’s Northern California. Dr. Romanowski serves as the Chair of the Committee on Technology and Communications of the Association for Academic Surgery, Vice Chair of the Communications Committee for the Association of Women Surgeons, and Vice Chair of the Organization and Delivery of Burn Care Committee for the American Burn Association. Her research focuses on disparities in outcomes following burn and trauma injury, particularly in older adults.
