Nicole Bazaco, Nicole Bazaco, MS, LPC-Associate, Supervised by Kelley Doss, LPC-S, CEDS
Following a 20-year career in marketing where Nicole was a leader often called “the people whisperer,” she decided to lean into her natural strengths and earned her Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. Specializing in addiction, Nicole completed additional coursework and training in trauma and addiction treatment. Nicole is also a Certified Wellness Coach and a Certified Practitioner of Myers-Briggs® Type Indicator and utilizes knowledge from these areas to add to her understanding of people and the process of change.
Nicole believes in the adage that the opposite of addiction is not sobriety, but human connection. Building on foundational skills from leading teams and developing people along with her counseling training, she works to help families and individuals find ways to communicate, manage conflict, and support each other in healthier and more effective ways. Nicole currently works with individuals, couples, and families at Santé Center for Healing and in private therapy practice at Empowered Counseling.
