Henning Drechsler, MD
Dr. Drechsler completed his medical degree from the University of Basel, Switzerland and later went on to complete postgraduate training in internal medicine in Switzerland before completing a residency in internal medicine at Emory University and an infectious diseases fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. In 2006 he joined the VA North Texas Healthcare System and the UT faculty as HIV lead physician. His research interest focus on HIV and non-AIDS associate comorbidity and the role of lipid-lowering therapy. Dr. Drechsler’s interests outside of medicine include spending time with his family, music, and politics.
