Callie Emery, M.D.

Dr. Emery is a physician in outpatient private practice in Dallas. She is a graduate of UT Southwestern Medical School. She completed her triple board residency, fellowship, and Chief Residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was trained in general pediatrics, adult psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry.
In her private practice, Dr. Emery cares for patients throughout the life cycle (prenatal to older adult). She works with all diagnoses. Her two areas of increased specialization are 1) working with infants and toddlers and their parents and 2) working with patients at the junction of severe general medical and co-morbid psychiatric difficulties (for example, recurrent cancer and conversion disorder).
Dr. Emery works to address the needs of the whole child within the context of their family. She collaborates closely with other providers when there are complex treatment teams. Her methodologies range from consultations for medication management to individual therapy with CBT or psychodynamic psychotherapy to pharmacogenomic evaluations to seeing an individual multiple days per week in psychoanalysis.
