Krystle Campbell, MS, CHSE
Ms. Campbell directs the operations of the UT Southwestern Simulation Center. Prior to joining the center, Ms. Campbell led the successful growth and system-wide integration at the University of Wisconsin (UW) Simulation Center, a joint venture between the School of Medicine and Public Health and UW Health. One of less than 40 individuals worldwide with a Masters in Healthcare Simulation, and a student of the Medical University of South Carolina Doctor of Health Program, Ms. Campbell’s interest is to grow the field of simulation advocacy and health policy. Ms. Campbell is an active member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, American College of Surgeons, as well as other national and international organizations. She has a strong interest in Global Health, as notable by her on-going work in Ethiopia, leading two simulation centers’ growth. Ms. Campbell’s national and international scholarship has focused around faculty development, advocacy, interprofessional education, innovative delivery of simulations, and global outreach.
In her role at UT Southwestern, Ms. Campbell manages strategy initiatives for our 49,000-square-foot Simulation Center on West Campus – overseeing all finance, administrative, operational data, and reporting functions. She also develops and deploys advanced simulation learning experiences for students and faculty in collaboration with experts in the Undergraduate Medical Education Program, Graduate Medical Education Program, School of Health Professions, and Health System.
