Graduated with BS in nursing 1996 from D'Youville College in Buffalo New York. Moved to Texas and began working at VA hospital. Began working at Zale neuro ICU in 1998. Later promoted to assistant manager of Zale ICU for the next 4 years. After merge of Zale and UTSW RN positioned included Float pool, assistant manager Interventional Radiology, house Supervisor. Graduated from Texas Womans University 2008 with Master's of Science Nursing- FNP. Left UTSW to Work at Metrocare- psych facility in 2008. Recruited to Parkland to open a new ED observation unit in 2009--2014. Then recruited to Baylor to open a new observation unit and to work as the Lead APP for ED observation. recruited back to UTSW and worked as a Hospitalist for 5 years until 2021. In 2021 moved to PMR Inpatient rehabilitation as the first inpatient APPs at UTSW. Worked with colleagues in IPR on an APP orientation manual, multiple QI projects and a member of the Spine ERAS certification team.

The Association of Academic Physical Medicine and Rehabilition 2022 convention: The Changing Academic Rehabilitaion Team: The Role of the Advanced Practice Providers.
Currently has a paper under review for publication with The Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilition. The Changing Academic Rehabilitaion Team: The Role of the Advanced Practice Providers.
