Bethany Agusala, MD

Dr. Agusala is an assistant professor in General Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern. Originally from the Midwest, she completed her undergraduate and medical education at the University of Michigan. She finished her residency in Internal Medicine at McGaw Medical Center at Northwestern University in 2013. Following a year as a clinical instructor in hospital medicine at Emory University, she joined the faculty at UT Southwestern. Dr. Agusala specializes in adult primary care with a strong focus on preventive medicine and chronic disease management through lifestyle changes. In 2019, she became board certified in Lifestyle Medicine in addition to board certification in Internal Medicine. She is passionate about sharing the power of lifestyle change with her patients and with medical students and residents.
She has also served as the Medical Director of the William T. and Gay F. Solomon General Internal Medicine Clinic at UT Southwestern since 2018.
