Ishvinder Grewal, Dr Ishvinder S Grewal MD FRCS
Ishvinder Singh Grewal, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in general orthopaedic trauma; hip and knee trauma and injuries; and hip and knee reconstruction secondary to acute or previous trauma. He has a particular interest in revision of previous failed hip and knee trauma.
Dr. Grewal earned his medical degree at Imperial College London and completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Royal London Hospital. He received advanced training through a fellowship in hip and knee reconstruction and soft tissue at Barts and The London, and fellowships in orthopaedic trauma surgery at Parkland and the Florida Orthopaedic Institute.[RH1]
He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.
Dr. Grewal is a member of several professional associations, including the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, AO Trauma North America, and the British Orthopaedic Association.
He is the author of numerous articles and presentations, and he serves as a reviewer for The Bone and Joint Journal and Strategies in Trauma and Limb Reconstruction.
