Karina Zapata, PT, DPT, PhD
Karina Zapata is the research therapist for the Therapy Services Department at Scottish Rite for Children. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA in 2007 before moving to Dallas to work at Scottish Rite that same year. She received her PhD in physical therapy from Texas Woman's University in 2013. She has published on various topics including spine deformity, back pain, and the need for validated outcome measures in pediatrics.
