Sanjeev Arora, MD, MACP, FACG

Sanjeev Arora is the Founder and Director of Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes), a globally recognized disruptive innovation that tackles the world’s greatest challenges by providing access to knowledge and best practices in health, education, and other domains for rural and urban underserved populations.
First developed in 2003 to respond to the growing hepatitis C crisis in New Mexico, the ECHO model has since expanded to address over 70 disease areas and other complex issues at over 520 training centers in 56 countries.
Dr. Arora is also a Regents and Distinguished Professor of Medicine with tenure in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center (UNMHSC) in Albuquerque, N.M.
