Lauren Smith, BBA

Lauren Smith is the Manager of Talent Planning in Talent Development, which is a division within Human Resources. She has over 24 years of experience in training and organizational development.
In her current position, Lauren oversees Talent Planning and Performance Management for UTSW. She also does Executive Coaching and is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach and a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. Lauren is also a facilitator in UT Southwestern’s Leadership Foundations and Aspiring Leaders Programs. She also develops and facilitates training on many topics including DISC Behavior Styles, Clifton Strengths, Coaching, Communication, Emotional Intelligence, Difficult Conversations, Influencing, Change Management, Accountability and Trust.
