Rohini Downs, PharmD, BCPP

Dr. Downs earned her PharmD from Texas Tech University in 2010, completed residency training in Psychiatric Pharmacy in 2012, and has practiced as a Clinical Psychiatric Pharmacist for 11 years, 9 of which have been at Parkland Hospital. She has a passion for patient education, treating substance use disorders, and serious mental illness. She is involved in interdisciplinary resident and student teaching and multiple hospital initiatives to expand mental health access to patients with mental illness. She greatly enjoys her work, but also loves to unwind at home with her husband, 3 children, extended family, and friends, travelling, and reading.
