Molly Jeffery, PhD, MPP
Molly Moore Jeffery is an associate professor of Emergency Medicine and serves as the scientific director for research in Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She was recently named the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Honored Investigator in the Science of Health Care Delivery. Dr. Jeffery was trained as a health services researcher and health economist. Her research centers on the appropriate use of secondary health care service data to develop real world evidence that addresses important questions on the safety and effectiveness of health care services She uses these tools to study treatments for acute and chronic pain and opioid use disorder, as well as other conditions cared for in the emergency department and other settings.
