I am a pediatric intensivist who is interested in data-driven outcomes research, specifically defining physiology-based phenotypes of critical illness and short-term outcomes for critically ill children who experience clinical deterioration. I hope to identify clinical deterioration earlier using continuous physiological data such as heart rate variability, which will allow us to intervene sooner and improve outcomes for at-risk patients.
