Kelly Larkin-Kaiser, PhD
Dr. Larkin-Kaiser is an Adjunct Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences and Research Scientist for the RESTORE Network at the University of Calgary. Dr. Larkin-Kaiser holds a Ph.D. from the University of Florida in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and completed her Postdoctoral training at the University of Calgary in the Faculty of Kinesiology. Her research has focused on investigating the functional and phenotypic neuromuscular adaptations in both pre-clinical and clinical models that occur in response to injury, aging, and disease. Dr. Larkin-Kaiser is passionate about research endeavours centred around studying and implementing novel neurorehabilitation technology (electrical stimulation, laser therapy, virtual reality, robotic exoskeletons) to improve cardiovascular and neuromuscular function, that ultimately improves patient quality of life and care.
