Kathleen McKee, MD, MPH
Dr. Kathleen McKee leads Movement Disorders Care at Intermountain Health – an integrated, value-based healthcare system head quartered in Salt Lake City, UT. She graduated with honors in English from Harvard College and received her degree in Medicine from Emory University in Atlanta. She completed her internship, neurology residency, and movement disorders fellowship at Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s Hospitals in Boston. She completed an additional fellowship with the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization in health policy and hospital management and a masters in public health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. At Intermountain she co-chairs the Research Equity Committee overseeing implementation of a strategic plan to achieve our vision of making research available to everyone. At Intermountain Health Dr. McKee also leads the ‘Parkinson’s Elevated’ project which is designed to implement exercise as medicine for persons with Parkinson’s Disease within a value-based care model. In her free time Dr. McKee enjoys running, road biking, cross-country skiing and spending time with her husband and two young daughters.
