Donggyu Rim, BSc (Hons)
Donggyu is a Bachelor of Biomedical Science graduate from Monash University. After graduating with first-class Honours, Donggyu is currently completing his PhD study, supervised by Prof. Vaughan Macefield, Prof. Luke Henderson, and Assoc/Prof. Elisabeth Lambert. Donggyu's current work focuses on recording muscle sympathetic nerve activity in concert with imaging the activity of the brain to identify novel brain regions associated with an elevated sympathetic drive in people with high blood pressure. He aims to extend this work to people with cardiovascular diseases such as atrial fibrillation and heart failure.
