Jorge Trejo-Lopez, M.D.
Jorge A. Trejo-Lopez, M.D. completed his medical school training, Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency, as well as Neuropathology Fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He is an Assistant Professor in the Mayo Clinic Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, Division of Anatomic Pathology, where he contributes to the Neuropathology service, Ophthalmic pathology service, and Autopsy service. His academic interests lie within the areas of neurodegeneration, with a particular interest in alpha-synucleinopathies (including multiple system atrophy) and neuro-oncology (including molecular characterization of brain tumors).
