Jan Ramirez
Dr. Ramirez is Director for the Center for integrative Brain Research at the Seattle Children's Research Institute, and Professor for Neurological Surgery and Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is also the Editor in Chief for the Journal of Neurophysiology.
Dr. Ramirez studies the neuronal control of breathing and cardiorespiratory coupling. He has worked on animal models and characterized breathing and cardiorespiratory coupling in Rett syndrome, OSA and Leigh Syndrome.
