I am originally from India and completed his medical school training at Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He obtained his Internal Medicine residency training at University of Illinois College Of Medicine at Peoria followed by Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship training at Rush University, Chicago. I also obtained Masters in Clinical Research at Rush University, Chicago as well.
I joined UT Southwestern as faculty in 2016 and spend majority of my time taking care of pulmonary hypertension patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am site principal investigator and co-investigator for multiple multi center trials in pulmonary hypertension. My research interests in addition to clinical research include use of different imaging modalities to better diagnose and prognosticate pulmonary arterial hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension.
