Jessica Campbell, MD
Jessica B. Campbell, M.D. is a facutly member in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She received a B.S. in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University where she graduated summa cum laude, and M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Following her internship and residency at Vanderbilt University, she completed a chief residency at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital where she focused on medical education.
Prior to moving to joining the UTSW faculty in 2020, Dr. Campbell served as a faculty member at the UTHealth McGovern Medical School in Houston, where she grew a busy primary care practice while also pursuing her passion for clinical education. She earned the Dean’s Teaching Excellence Award in 2019.
Dr. Campbell specializes in primary care of the adult patient, including preventive care and chronic disease management. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and believes in the importance of shared decision making. She is continuing her passion for medical education by serving as the ambulatory co-clerkship director for the 3rd year medical students.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two young daughters and husband.
