David Khan
Biographical Info for David A. Khan, M.D.
Dr. David A. Khan is Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He is the Program Director for the Allergy & Immunology fellowship program at Southwestern. Dr. Khan is a Past-President of the Texas Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society and a current member of the Board of Directors of the AAAAI. He is also a member of the Joint Task Force on Practice Parameters for Allergy & Immunology and an Associate Editor for the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology In Practice.
Dr. Khan received his medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. After completing an Internal Medicine residency at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona he went on to fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology at the Mayo Clinic. His research interests include, drug allergy, therapies for refractory chronic urticaria, and the interaction of depression and asthma. He has authored over 140 peer-reviewed publications.
