David Parsons, PhD, DABR
David Parsons, PhD is an Assistant Professor and Associate Director of Medical Physics Residency Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is the lead physicist for the breast disease oriented team and currently specializes in adaptive radiation therapy (ART), surface guided radiation therapy (SGRT), volumetric modulated arc therapy for total body irradiation, and stereotactic treatment planning for Cyberknife and Gamma Pod. His current research involves SGRT guided deep inspiration breath holds for stereotactic body irradiation, pediatric induced sedition effect, collision space mapping and cone-beam based ART.
