Allyson Cook, M.A.
Allyson Cook joined UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2021. She is a Senior Education Coordinator for the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Family Medicine Residency Program. She brings over 20 years of experience to the department. Her work has focused on supporting children and families in gaining access to affordable healthcare, education, advocacy in healthcare policy, grants management, continuing medical education programming, and medical education administration. Previously, Allyson worked at the University of Arkansas For Medical Sciences Department of Family and Preventive Medicine where she directed the department’s CME program and supported research in early childhood development. Allyson holds a BS in Community Health Education from Texas A&M University and a Master’s degree from Campbell University in North Carolina.
