Grace Bouvier, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, CNSC
Grace Bouvier is a Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Surgery working with the Nutrition Support Team and Enteral Access Service (EASy Team) at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Mrs. Bouvier completed her undergraduate degree from the Texas Tech University in Lubbock in 2015. She began her nursing career at UT Southwestern working with transplant recipients and advanced heart failure patients. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2021. She developed a passion for research and improving patient outcomes which she now applies to her position with the Nutrition Support Team. She works to better overall patient morbidity and mortality through recognizing and treating malnutrition in critically ill patients. Mrs. Bouvier uses a multidisciplinary approach to educate a variety of hospital staff about the importance of nutrition. With the EASy Team, Mrs. Bouvier facilitates placement of enteral access in order to better patients' nutritional status and improve their quality of life. She works with many departments including IR, GI, and Surgery to attain enteral access safely and efficiently for her patients. She maintains her Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) and Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) certifications.
