Natalie Gamez, RN, BSN, CCRN
Natalie Gamez, BSN, RN, CCRN is the newest member to join the High Reliability Team. Natalie graduated with her baccalaureate degree from UTA in 2010 and started her nursing career as a telemetry nurse. Quickly working her way to ICU and then joining the UTSW nursing team in 2013. Since that time, Natalie has worked as a staff member in the our CVICU since 2013. Natalie has been involved in several quality committees including CAUTI and Code Blue Committee where she sat as co-chair. Natalie was also a co-lead for the ECMO team in CVICU. Over Natalie’s nursing career, she has developed a passion for process improvement and patient/ staff safety and made the transition to HRT in November 2018 where she will continue to use her clinical knowledge to grow the validity and realism of our simulations.
