Amit Goyal, MD, MAS
Amit Goyal, MD MAS, is an interventional/structural cardiologist and director of the CICU at the Dallas VA Medical Center, assistant professor of medicine at UT Southwestern, Editor-in-Chief of US Cardiology Review, and co-founder of CardioNerds.
He completed his medical school and obtained a master’s degree in clinical research at the University of California, San Diego and went on to enjoy internal medicine residency training in the Osler Program at Johns Hopkins University, where he served as the Assistant Chief of Service of the Barker Firm. He completed general cardiology as well as interventional and structural cardiology fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic.
