SRC's Controversies in Pediatric Limb Reconstruction (JS2502D)
This 2-day live and interactive symposium will provide a venue for physicians from around the world to collaborate on the latest techniques, case discussions, and controversies in various pediatric limb deformities including lower extremity complex trauma reconstruction, prosthetic osseointegration for amputations, osteogenesis imperfecta, and complex hip reconstruction. Our goal is to provide a deep learning experience for practitioners and provoke discussion that improves care for children everywhere.
Target Audience
The target audience includes practicing pediatric orthopedic surgeons, pediatric orthopedic fellows, and general orthopedic surgeons with an interest in lower extremity reconstruction for a variety of pediatric orthopedic conditions.
Learning Objectives
- Identify and discuss the most current techniques and controversies in the management of complex lower extremity trauma in pediatric and adolescent patients.
- Identify and discuss the most current techniques and controversies in the management of osteogenesis imperfecta.
- Identify and discuss the most current controversies in bone healing.
- Identify and discuss the most current techniques and controversies in the management of complex hip conditions in children and adolescents.
