Dr. Rayaz joined UT Southwestern in 2023 after spending six years at Johns Hopkins University where he was the Fellowship Program Director for the Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain fellowship and Director of Regional Anesthesiology. Dr. Rayaz earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences before moving on to fellowship training at Yale University and settling in as an attending at Johns Hopkins. His professional interests include regional anesthesia and inpatient multimodal pain management. In his personal life, he likes to spend time with his family and cheer on his favorite childhood teams, the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres
