Vincent Chen, MD, MS
I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Michigan Medical School. I completed my undergraduate studies at Amherst College, followed by medical school at Harvard Medical School, residency at Stanford Healthcare, and gastroenterology/hepatology fellowships at the University of Michigan (completed June 2020). I was funded by a clinical, translational, and outcomes research award from AASLD from 2020-2022 and am currently funded by a K08 from NIDDK (2022-2027). My research interests are in precision health in steatotic liver disease with a focus on genetics and understanding disease heterogeneity.
