SRC's International Pediatric Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Symposium (JS2410B-080925)

Additional course details and how to Register can be found HERE
This 2-day course involves didactic lectures, discussions and skills demonstrations, as well as hands-on experience with musculoskeletal conditions in the pediatric population, featuring expert faculty from around the country and internationally. This is a unique opportunity for these learners as it provides both didactic and hands-on learning on an emerging topic and technology of ultrasound in pediatric musculoskeletal conditions. This course incorporates more advanced learning of ultrasound and a larger breadth of experience by building upon our previous fundamentals course by expanding the breadth of practice. It will do this by incorporating demonstrations on individual joints followed by hands-on practice reviewing joint protocols for each specific joint. Additionally, there will be two international based lectures—one will compare and contrast the use of pediatric Musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound in the USA vs abroad. The other will discuss uses of pediatric MSK ultrasound through a case-based discussion. Although we discussed developmental dyplasia of the hip (DDH) briefly during the fundamentals course, this symposium will have a dedicated lecture, demonstration, and practice of implementation of how to do a DDH.
