Marie Anne Gebara
Dr. Gebara is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her medical degree from the American University of Beirut and a residency in Psychiatry at the Washington University in St. Louis. This was followed by a clinical fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. Subsequently, she completed 2 research fellowships, the first at the VA Pittsburgh Mental Illness Research, Education and Clinical Center (MIRECC) and a T32 postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research interests have focused on sleep and late-life treatment resistant depression. She is the medical director of Ketamine Services at the Center for Interventional Psychiatry and her clinical work also includes providing ECT, TMS, and she is a psychiatric consultant for local nursing homes and at the ADRC.
